• Presence and location: venue-level location while the app is open, used only to confirm mutual presence in the same space. We do not track your movements in the background.
• Signals and messages: the ice-breakers, emojis, and short messages you send through Beplo.
• Device and usage data: device type, app version, and anonymised usage statistics that help us improve the product.
• Cookies: our website uses essential cookies and, with your consent, basic analytics cookies.

How we use your information

• To confirm mutual presence and enable consent-driven connections — the core of how Beplo works.
• To keep the community safe, including preventing abuse, spam, and fake accounts.
• To improve and develop the app and website.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never show your exact location to other users.
• We never let anyone browse a list of people nearby — connections only happen when both people signal interest.

Sharing

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run Beplo (such as hosting and analytics), under contracts that protect your information, and with authorities when the law requires it.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep it longer.
